Course Description:
The band experience is designed to offer foremost, a musical experience focusing on the education and training of the instrumental musician in many facets of their development. The students will develop discepline, playing stamina, musical acumen (style and musical skills), mature rehearsal technique and proper performance technique in varied styles and venues.
Band at Carbon High School consist of three specific aspects. By enrolling in the class, every member of the band will be actively involved in each of these aspects.

1. Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band aspect focuses on classical material and formal concert technique and etiquette.

2. Marching Band
The Marching Band aspect focuses on parade and field show performances.

3. Pep Band
The Pep Band aspect focuses on supporting Carbon High Athletics and other programs.
