ZERO FATALITIES DRIVER EDUCATION PARENT/TEEN NIGHT

The Zero Fatalities Driver Education Parent/Teen Night will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019, at 6:30p.m. in the CHS auditorium.  All students that have taken or are planning to take a Driver's Education class MUST attend at least one presentation with a parent/guardian before they will be placed with an instructor in the car.

SAFE TEEN DRIVERS HAVE INVOLVED PARENTS...Teens with involved parents:

     - are 2X more likely to wear seat belts.
     - are 70% less likely to drink and drive.
     - are half as likely to speed.
     - are 30% less likely to talk on a cell phone while driving.

Teaching a teen to drive may be frightening, but it's not as scary as what could happen if you don't monitor your teen's driving. These national statistics show that when parents stay involved, their teens are more likely to exhibit safe behaviors.

Join us for a parent/teen night to learn how you can help your teen be a better driver. This meeting is mandatory and will not be offered again until Monday, March 16, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS auditorium.
