Congrats to all of our amazing Sterling Scholars from Carbon High! They represented our school very well in Monday's virtual Sterling Scholar competition. Many months of hard work go into preparing a portfolio and brushing up on interview skills. This year's competition had a very different format due to the effects of COVID-19 on our community and state. Normally, candidates would meet face-to-face with judges for an interview and possible performances that most often represent their four-year body of work. Students this year participated on technology from home, not knowing what questions they would find on the other side of their computer screens.
In all, eight Dinos won their respective categories, while four more finished as runners-up. Way to go DINOS! We are incredibly proud of all of you...
