The Carbon School District Alternative Language Service Program (ALS) works to identify students' specific language learning needs in order to meet student cultural, linguistic, social, and academic needs. Identification of instruction to meet these needs boosts student mastery of core curriculum concepts, making these core standards accessible regardless of native language background.
