Tammy Rigert began her teaching career in Carbon School District in 1995 after relocating from Colorado. She accepted a position at East Carbon High School, where she taught English and coached. Tammy quickly grew to love the close-knit community and the students she had the privilege to teach there.
In 2005, she moved to Price and transitioned to Carbon High School, where she has dedicated the last 20 years of her career. Her time at Carbon High has been marked by a deep commitment to education and a passion for connecting with students in meaningful ways.
Tammy considers it a true privilege to have been part of the Carbon community for the past three decades. She treasures the many relationships she’s built with both present and former students, and feels grateful to have shared in their educational journeys.
As she enters retirement, Tammy leaves behind a legacy of dedication, mentorship, and care—qualities that have made a lasting impact on countless lives.
