Gail Scoville has dedicated the last 30 years to teaching at Carbon High School, starting with the 1995-1996 school year. Throughout her career, she has taught a wide range of courses, including Journalism, English 10, 11, and 12, AP English Language and Composition, as well as Concurrent Enrollment classes such as English 2200, English 1010, and English 2010.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Gail had the incredible opportunity to coach the Carbon High Debate team for 11 wonderful years, beginning in the Fall of 2006. During that time, she led students to several National Tournaments, creating lasting memories and fostering skills that will serve her debaters for years to come.
Gail was also deeply involved in extracurricular activities, serving as an advisor for multiple clubs and organizations, including PEAK and Authors Anonymous. Her influence extended far beyond the classroom, helping to shape the high school experience for countless students.
After 30 years of dedication, hard work, and making a positive impact on the Carbon High community, Gail’s legacy is one of passion, leadership, and a deep commitment to education. It has truly been an incredibly awesome 30 years!
