Superintendent Mika Salas, along with the Carbon School District administrative team, welcomed teachers back during Opening Institute as we kicked off another school year together.
They also took time to celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication of our teachers and staff. Awards were presented to teachers who have reached 4 years of service and teachers & staff who have reached 10, 15, 20, 25, and 35 years of service with Carbon School District. That kind of commitment is something worth celebrating!
Our Teacher of the Year, Paige Haddock from Castle Heights, delivered a truly heartwarming keynote centered around the theme: Strong Alone. Unstoppable Together.
Her message was a beautiful reminder that while our schools may be spread across different locations, we are all part of one district, one team, and one mission.
No matter where you work in Carbon School District, we work together, we support one another, and we move forward together. ❤️
