Kindergarten registration starts next week. Kindergarten Registration is from 9:00am-11:00am on the following dates:
April 20 – Bruin Point Elementary
April 21 – Castle Heights Elementary
April 22 – Creekview Elementary
April 23 – Sally Mauro Elementary
April 24 – Wellington Elementary
Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to register for Kindergarten. We will be registering students who were born on September 1, 2021 or earlier.
Please note the following requirements:
• A copy of the student’s birth certificate is required.
• Proof of immunizations or a valid exemption must be provided at the time of registration.
• Students must register at their boundary school. Families may submit an online boundary waiver request form if they wish to attend a school outside of their boundary area. • Proof of residency is required at the time of registration. Families must provide valid documentation verifying that the student and parent or guardian physically reside within school boundaries. Acceptable documentation includes a current lease or mortgage statement, a recent utility bill, state issued ID, or official government correspondence in the parent or guardian’s name showing the in-boundary address.
• In accordance with Utah State Law, all students must be toilet trained in order to attend Kindergarten.

5th Grade Maturation Program will be held this Friday, April 10 at 1:30. Please return the signed permission slip whether they are attending or not by April 9. Parents and Guardians are strongly encouraged to attend. Please plan on talking your student home after the presentation.

The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council will be holding a Public Comment meeting at the District office on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 3pm-5pm. The Council is developing their new 5 year State Plan for 2027-2031 which will guide their work to identify and improve areas of need for Utahns with Disabilities. The public is invited to review and provide comment on the proposed goals and objectives, as required by law.

As a reminder 5th grade will be attending the JA City field trip on Thursday, March 19. Students will leave at 7:30 and return about 3:30. JA City will only allow the assigned chaperones into the building. After the field trip, you may only take your child. The school policy is that you may not take another child home with you. All children who do not have a parent chaperoning must ride the bus home.

The Elementary School Classroom Aide supports teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment for students. This role assists with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision. Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson preparation. Provide support to individual students or small groups as needed. Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and other school events. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance consistent with school policies. Parents of 5th Graders: Today your student will be bringing home a Course Catalog for Mont Harmon Middle School. Please carefully look over it with your child so they will have an understanding as to what classes they may want to register for next year. Mont Harmon will be here at Creekview this Thursday, February 12 to help them select classes and start the registration process. Mont Harmon will reach out to parents in August when classes are finalized.
