Due to an accident on Highway 6, buses traveling from Helper to Carbonville and Price will have delayed drop offs. This will include buses traveling from Carbon High to Helper and Carbonville. Thank you for your patience and support.
Due to an emergency power outage, and most of the classrooms not having windows, Carbon High School will be dismissing at 12:30pm today. Lunch is being provided, and buses will transport students home.
Sally Mauro Elementary is showing support for Carbon High School by wearing pink or magenta tomorrow, October 15th! Let's show our school spirit and help cheer CHS on in their contest. CHS is currently in 3rd place, so every vote helps! Thank you for helping us support our high school and cheering them on to the finish!
Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Paraprofessional at Sally Mauro Elementary School in Helper, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan Fingerprint background screening. Will provide assistance to teachers in imparting lessons and handling classroom activities. Responsible for providing students with assistance during classroom sessions and assisting teachers in developing teaching resources. Will work approximately 19 hours per week. Butterbraid order forms were sent home last week. As the only school in the tri-county area selling them, this is our most delicious fundraiser of the year!
Last year, we raised $4,000, which funded archery team shirts, the Halloween carnival, a math program, teacher and staff appreciation, assemblies, the science fair, field day, and many other activities for our kids.
Please turn in all order forms and payments by September 30th. If you prefer to opt out of selling and make a direct donation instead, you can drop off a check payable to "Sally Mauro PTO" at the office.

Glow In The Dark Family Night hosted by the Boys and Girls Club will be this Friday, September 18th from 7-9 pm at the school. Please see attached flyer for information and how to contact the club if you have any questions.

Seniors will walk toward each other from opposite sides of the football
field and meet on the 50 yard line where our seniors will pass the torch
to the next generation of Carbon Dinos. Wear Carbon Colors!
