The archery practice that is scheduled for November 27, will be rescheduled to tomorrow, Monday, November 24 due to Thanksgiving. Practice will resume to normal schedule after break. Thanks.
If your archery students practice on Wednesdays, November 26 practice has been changed to tomorrow, Monday November 17 from 1:30 to 3:00. They will also have their regular scheduled practice on Wednesday, November 19.
Just a few reminders... School begins at 8:10. Students will be considered tardy after 8:15. If your student is missing a jacket, you are welcome to come look through the lost and found as it is piling up quickly. It is helpful if you could please put your child's names on their belongings. PTA will be sponsoring a Fall Festival, Wednesday, November 12th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Book Fair (opens at 2:40). Come for a FREE dinner and fun! The Book Fair will also be open Tuesday and Thursday from 2:40 p.m. to 5:30 pm.
Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Classroom Aide at Creekview Elementary School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. The Elementary School Classroom Aide supports teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment for students. This role assists with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision. Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson preparation. Provide support to individual students or small groups as needed. Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and other school events. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance consistent with school policies. Support students with special needs, following individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training as required. Picture retake day will be held Thursday, October 9th. Please come prepared to get your photo taken if you were absent on original picture day. Also bring your picture packet back if you are wanting a retake. Please prepay online as no money will be taken or no packets will be available at the school.
