Please do not drop students off at school before 7:40 a.m. as this is when the doors are unlocked and staff will be available on the playground. Picture day is Wednesday, September 3. If possible, please order online at BELLPHOTO.COM. If paying with cash, remember to add tax and put exact payment in the envelope. The office is not able to provide change.

Remember Monday, August 25 is Back to School Night. Kindergarten will hold their meeting from 5:30 to 5:55. The general session will be from 6:00 to 6:25 followed by two break out sessions. The first session will be from 6:30 to 6:50 and the second session will be from 6:55 to 7:15.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Music Specialist at Creekview Elementary School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. The Music Specialist provides instruction in general music to elementary students. The specialist develops students’ appreciation of music, builds fundamental skills in rhythm and melody and fosters creativity and self-expression through music. Plan and deliver engaging music instruction aligned with state and district standards. Beginning pay is $18.23 per hour. Will work approximately 16 hours per week. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Kitchen Clerk at Creekview Elementary School in Price, Utah. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. The Kitchen Clerk is responsible for accurately processing student meals, maintaining lunch account records, collecting payments, and assisting with daily operations of the school cafeteria. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service skills when interacting with students, staff, and families. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. The Boys and Girls Club of Price is closing and will not be providing after-school services this year. There will be no bus routes to the closing location. Each elementary school will have an after-school opportunity through the Boys and Girls Club. The programs will not start until after Labor Day. Information will be available after school begins.

School will be dismissed tomorrow Wednesday, May 21st at 10:45. We will have the lost and found laid out so that you may recover any of your children's lost items. Enjoy your summer!
Tomorrow, May 19 the students will be receiving and signing yearbooks. Every student will receive one. Please take a moment and have a discussion with your student as to what is appropriate to sign in others yearbooks. Remind them there will also be NO signing on clothing or their bodies. Yearbooks are a great keepsake and memory for all of us. Remember school will be dismissed this Wednesday, May 21 at 10:45.
