Parents: Balance Rock Art Display in Balance Rock Eatery would like to invite everyone to come and see the student art on display. It will be on display through December 6th. Thank you Balance Rock Eatery!

Sally Mauro Parents: Helper City is inviting parents and students to a ribbon cutting Wednesday, Dec 1 at 4PM at the outdoor mining exhibit for the newly installed solar system trail along our river walkway. Each sign represents a planet proportional to its actual location in the solar system. This is an educational effort tied to our Dark Skies initiative.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our Penny Wars! We raised $1993.40. This was enough money to cover T-shirt, registration fees, and supplies for our archery program, which was the goal. Congratulations to Mrs. Cox's 3rd Grade class for winning with the most points. Mrs. Gardner's 5th grade class was the winner for most money brought in.

We would like to thank the USU Eastern Athletic Dept. and Carbon Care Coalition for stopping by today. Students were given a grey wristband. This band allows them free entry into USU Eastern basketball games at the BDAC.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a YIC Aide at the Castle Country Youth Center. If you are doing a RETAKE please bring back original package of photos in its entirety to give to photographer. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Librarian at Sally Mauro Elementary School in Helper, Utah. Must have some knowledge of the workings of a library, be able to work well with students, teachers and other educational staff. Will provide media services for students, teaching staff and building-level administration in a helpful, positive, congenial and flexible manner. Assists students and teachers in the use of library facilities and services in the selection of library materials. Performs circulation duties including checking books in and out, sorting and shelving books, and keeping circulation records. Processes new books and materials, keeps track of where books are located. Maintains shelf list. Contacts students about overdue or damaged materials and collects fines. Processes new materials. Maintain discipline in the library. Other duties as assigned. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a part time position, approximately 29 hours per week. Prepares and produces a variety of foods from fresh, canned, dry, or frozen states according to recipes and assists in other related tasks in a designated food service production and/or service area, specifically the Deli/Salad Kitchen at the District office.
