Starting Monday, 10/20/25, Bus #15 will now be Bus #142.
Same route, same driver, just a new bus number. This specifically affects students from Helper Middle School and Sally Mauro Elementary.
This change is permanent.
Please make a note so your student knows which bus to catch on Monday, October 20.

The Kindergarten-Senior Walk is happening tomorrow, September 24th @ 6:30 pm on the CHS Football Field, South Side. This is the 2nd annual Kindergarten-Senior Walk. It is a FREE event. Please see attached flyer for more info.
We would love to see our entire community support the CHS Homecoming Parade!!! Join us this Friday, September 26th at 12:00 p.m. on Main Street. There will be floats from all schools in the district. Come show your support for our current Dinos and future Dinos!

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Para Professional at Sally Mauro Elementary in Helper, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. The paraprofessional will support teachers and staff in creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for elementary students. This position assists in classroom instruction, supervision, and student support services to promote academic and social growth. Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and the implementation of lesson plans. Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts. Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, lunchrooms, and during arrival/dismissal. Maintain confidentiality regarding student information. Perform other related duties as assigned. Helper Hogwarts is having their annual event on October 3 from 5pm-8pm. This is a free community event. See flyer for more info about this event.
Carbon School District is seeking applications for Lunch Subs at various locations throughout the District. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. Must have a current Utah Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one in a timely manner. These workers will assist kitchen managers with various duties in the school kitchens such as: preparing food, serving students, dishes, cleanup, sweeping, mopping, storing food, and any other duties that are required to assist management. Due to current road conditions, parents with students who live on the northeast side of Carbonville Road will need to pick up their students either from school or at an alternate bus stop, which will be located at El Jinete (in Circle C trailer park). The bus will wait for 15 minutes and then return the students to school.
