Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Paraprofessional at Sally Mauro Elementary School in Helper, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening.
To be in compliance with the Title I highly qualified paraprofessional requirements, ALL paraprofessionals that work with students in reading or writing in a Title I school must meet one of the following requirements:
1. Have 48 or more university/college credit hours reflected on a transcript OR
2. Pass a paraprofessional assessment
The Title I Paraprofessional provides academic support to students identified as needing assistance in reading and/or math. Working under the direction of certified teachers, the paraprofessional helps implement instructional strategies, delivers small group or one-on-one interventions, and supports student progress in alignment with Title I program goals.
