Just a reminder for any student taking a college class through USU: USU's registration and fee deadline is Friday, September 18th. Please make sure your student is registered for the college class that is on their CHS schedule and make sure all fees for USU are paid through USU. There is a $100 late fee if the registration is not complete or the fee is not paid.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. Assist head coach, instruct student athletes on skills and strategies, and organize equipment. Must have the ability to communicate with all stakeholders ,ability to follow directions as well as knowledge of the skills and strategies of the game of basketball. · In-depth knowledge of golf fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work with and motivate student-athletes of varying skill levels.
· CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
· Must pass required background checks and meet school district coaching certification requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Participation in high school or collegiate golf.
· Knowledge of tournament planning, course management, and swing analysis.

School pictures are today(Monday) in the Old Gym for 9th-11th grade students and in the Auditorium for seniors from 7:30am - 12:00pm. Students will be called down by last name and grade. If a student does not have a full schedule, they are welcome to come in at any time between 7:30am - 12:00pm for their photo.
