Must have a High School Diploma or GED. The Assistant Swim Coach supports the Head Swim Coach in developing and maintaining a successful high school swim program. This role involves assisting with practices, meets, athlete development, and promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and conducting swim practices and conditioning sessions. Provide instruction to student-athletes on swimming techniques, stroke development, and race strategies. Supervise athletes to ensure a safe and positive practice and competition environment. Previous competitive swimming and/or coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and meet rules/regulations. Part-time; hours include but not limited to before/after school practices, evening/weekend meets, and occasional team events. Compensation according to district coaching stipend schedule.
