Picture retakes will be on Monday, October 6th, from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the CHS auditorium. Students who do NOT have an Advisory can go any time.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for Lunch Subs at various locations throughout the District. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. Must have a current Utah Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one in a timely manner. These workers will assist kitchen managers with various duties in the school kitchens such as: preparing food, serving students, dishes, cleanup, sweeping, mopping, storing food, and any other duties that are required to assist management. This job is a district wide job and is on an as needed basis. Beginning pay is $15.97. Apply online at www.carbonschools.org

Starting tomorrow, ALL vehicles parked in Carbon High parking lots are required to have a parking permit. If you have not picked up your permit, do so ASAP. If you have not applied for a permit, visit the CHS website for the application. When picking up, bring your drivers license.

Auditions for MAMMA MIA are after school this Tues and Wed! (Aug 26-27) Sign up on the bulletin board outside of the drama room, and prepare a 30-60 second song. Any CHS student is welcome!

Carbon School District is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. The Assistant Swim Coach supports the Head Swim Coach in developing and maintaining a successful high school swim program. This role involves assisting with practices, meets, athlete development, and promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and conducting swim practices and conditioning sessions. Provide instruction to student-athletes on swimming techniques, stroke development, and race strategies. Supervise athletes to ensure a safe and positive practice and competition environment. Previous competitive swimming and/or coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and meet rules/regulations. Part-time; hours include but not limited to before/after school practices, evening/weekend meets, and occasional team events. Compensation according to district coaching stipend schedule. Interested in joining the school community council. We need 3 new members. Fill out an application found on the school website or the office. The deadline to apply is 8/29. Submit your completed application to the school office. If more than 3 apply, an election will be held on 9/2.

Students enrolled in the Driver Education class for 1st semester MUST have their learners permit NO LATER than September 12, 2025 in order to stay in the class. If this is not completed, students will need to change their class. See your Counselor with questions.

DRIVER EDUCATION will be taught during the school day this year. Students are assigned to a semester class based on their birthdate. LEARNER PERMIT, ZERO FATALITIES, AND PAYMENTS MUST be completed for students to complete the course. Questions: contact 435-613-4222.
