Carbon High School

Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Assistant Baseball Coach at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. The Assistant Baseball Coach assists the Head Baseball Coach in promoting an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Assistant Baseball Coach assists in providing leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the other staff and administration. Assist in the coordination and supervision of the Baseball program and team. Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Assist in the design of a training program and game program. Assist in the organization and supervision of the coaching staff to assure that the program is properly implemented. Ensure that all athletic activities conform to UHSAA guidelines. Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community. Apply online at www.carbonschools.org

Due to a malfunctioning emergency sensor, Carbon High was evacuated safely about 45 minutes ago. All is clear and school/classes will resume after lunch at 1:04PM. Students will go to their 3rd period class.

Students/Parents... Halloween is tomorrow (10/31), and you are welcome to wear a costume to school. Here are some reminders: No masks are allowed. You may not wear full-face makeup, you must be identifiable. You can not bring weapons or look-a-likes to school as part of your costume. And finally, your costume must meet the CHS dress code. Thanks in advance for your help and support.

Come welcome home our three-time girls cross country state champion Rozelyn Stowe tonight (10/29) at 8:30pm at Carbon High School. We hope to see as many supporters out as possible.

The Girl's Wrestling Team will hold a meeting on Thursday, October 30th at 3:15pm in Coach Howa's classroom in the Main Gym. All girls interested should plan on attending.

CHS 1st quarter report cards are available online in the PowerSchool portal. You can access your student's report card by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal or the PowerSchool app. If you need help logging into your account, contact the CHS Counseling Office. If you need a printed copy for insurance or other reasons, contact your student's counselor.

Seniors: FAFSA night is on Monday October 27th 5:30 - 8:00pm in the Carbon High Library. Seniors and their parents will receive help filling out the FAFSA form at this event.

Just a reminder... there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 24, 2025 for students. It is a PD Day for teachers. Enjoy your weekend!

Seniors: Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22nd, is Utah College Application Week. You will meet with college representatives and receive assistance with applications. All seniors are expected to attend the afternoon session from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the new gym. Students who signed up for the USU morning session will be called out with a note. You will need your social security number to complete applications. Please bring that with you.
