Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to student development both on and off the field. Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting practices. Support game preparation and in-game coaching. Promote good sportsmanship and team culture. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities. Maintain communication with athletes, parents, and staff as needed. Ensure compliance with school district and state athletic policies. Previous coaching or playing experience preferred. The ASVAB Career Exploration exam will be offered at 10:00 am on Thursday March 5th for students in 10-12th grade. If you would like to participate please sign up in the counseling office. The ASVAB measures abilities and helps predict success in the military. It is also a career exploration exam for students. There is no military obligation associated with this exam.
Carbon High Parents and Students: A reminder for this week... There is NO SCHOOL on Monday (2/16) for President's Day. Family Night is Tuesday (2/17) from 4:00 - 7:00PM. All Carbon School District 5th, 8th, and 9th-12th grade students and parents are invited to join us at CHS. We will have visitors from the following programs: Health Professions, Electrical Apprenticeship, Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Machining, IT/Cybersecurity, Diesel Technology, Welding, Aviation & Drones, and Drafting and Design. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Sub Bus Driver in the Transportation Department. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live scan fingerprint background screening. Must be able to qualify for a Utah CDL drivers license with school bus endorsement. District will provide paid training for qualified applicant. Under general supervision, the Substitute School Bus Driver operates school buses and/or other District vehicles to transport children to and from school and related activities in a safe, timely and economical manner when regular bus driver is not available.
