In accordance with the state and federal regulations implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), this is to inform of intent to destroy personally identifiable information related to special education services maintained in Carbon County School special education records for students that graduated, completed or aged out in 2019, 2020 or 2021.

The state only requires records be maintained for three (3) years from the date the child graduates, leaves the district or no longer receives special education and related services.

If you wish to obtain this information for your personal records, you need to contact us at 435-613-3159 before July 30, 2026; otherwise, the information will be destroyed after July 30, 2026. Please note that the student will have to be the one to request the records unless the parent has guardianship.

Please be advised that the records may be needed by the student or the parent for private, State, or Federal programs such as disability, social security benefits or other purposes.

The Assistant Girls Tennis Coach will support the Head Coach in developing a competitive and positive environment for student-athletes. They will help teach fundamental and advanced tennis skills, foster teamwork, and promote sportsmanship. The Assistant Coach will also assist with practice planning, game-day preparation, and administrative tasks related to the tennis program.

There will be a yearbook signing party on Monday, May 18th, following the ESPY awards in the cafeteria. There is a $1.00 charge. Students will receive their yearbooks. If students do not attend, they can pick up their yearbooks on Tuesday between 8 AM and 11 AM in the gym. -Assist with practices, performances, competitions, and team events
-Help teach and clean choreography and technique
-Support conditioning, skill development, and performance preparation

-Help coordinate costumes, music, schedules, and other team needs as assigned
-Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and coaching staff

CHS Graduation Ticket Information

All graduation information is on the CHS Homepage on the Graduation 2026 link. Here is the direct link: https://sites.google.com/carbonschools.org/2026-chs-graduation/home.

Each graduate receives 6 tickets in the bleachers for graduation. (Graduation is also livestreamed by ETV.)

We have a limited number of additional bleacher tickets. If you would like to request an extra ticket (1 total per graduate), you can fill out the form on the Graduation 2026 link starting at 7 AM Thursday, May 7th. This is first come, first served until the extras are gone.

We are also offering some additional tickets on the grassy terraces (bring your own seat). The form for that will open at 7 AM on Friday, May 8th.

Graduates pick up their tickets when they do their final checkout on Thursday, May 14th from 9 AM-2 PM.

Attendance is required for ALL students (9th - 12th) this week, even if you are not testing. This includes students who have opted out of testing. ALL 9th and 10th-grade students who have opted out of testing will report to the library during the testing period(s). Attendance will be taken each class period, every day, for all grade levels.
