Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Intervention Aide at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. Intervention Paraprofessional. Collaborate with individual teachers regarding their student's academic progress. Assist teachers in implementing differentiated instruction and/or classroom-based interventions. Support classroom lessons by integrating into a support role with individual children and small groups. Will work with troubled students or those who have problems in their education. As an advocate, you ensure these students get the help and resources they need to engage in a positive learning experience. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Schedule for tonight's Prom & Junior Promenade: Juniors arrive at 5:30pm to prepare for Promenade. Junior Promenade will begin at 6:00pm. Once Junior Promenade has finished, the gym will be cleared. Doors will open for Prom at 7:00pm and the dance will end at 10:00pm. At 8:30pm, the doors will close and there is no more entry into the dance. ALL students and guests MUST have ID to enter.
Due to PROM activities... Friday, February 27th is an Early Out Class Schedule (like a Monday) for Carbon High School. Classes will be dismissed at 12:10pm. Lunch will be served immediately following dismissal. However, busses for CHS will run their regular route times on this day. Students need to be at CHS waiting for their buses no later than 3:15pm as the buses will depart from CHS at their regular scheduled time. The Activity Bus will run at its normal scheduled time, but students must have an Activity Bus pass signed by a coach/teacher/advisor in order to ride the activity bus.
There will be a ZERO FATALITIES PARENT NIGHT held on March 12, at 6:00 PM. Remember, you must have a parent or guardian attend with you in order to complete the requirement for the class. Please arrive early so you can get signed in and seated by 6:00 pm. This is the last one available for this semester. Please plan to attend if you are close to getting your drivers license.
Attention Juniors... Remember, Utah Higher Education Day is next Wednesday, March 4th during 4th and 5th period. After lunch that day, you will report to 4th period as usual, and all juniors will be called down to the auditorium when our college representatives are ready to start. Carbon High bus schedule for Friday, February 27, 2026: Buses for Carbon High School will run their regular route times on Friday, February 27. Friday is PROM for Carbon High and they will have an early release day. They are the ONLY school with an early release day due to the Prom activities.

The ASVAB Career Exploration exam will be offered at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 5th for students in 10-12th grade. If you would like to participate, please sign up in the counseling office. The ASVAB measures abilities and helps predict success in the military. It is also a career exploration exam for students. There is no military obligation associated with this exam.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to student development both on and off the field. Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting practices. Support game preparation and in-game coaching. Promote good sportsmanship and team culture. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities. Maintain communication with athletes, parents, and staff as needed. Ensure compliance with school district and state athletic policies. Previous coaching or playing experience preferred.
