Hello Parents, Registration is now open for all winter sports, which includes Boys and Girls Swimming, Basketball and Wrestling. If your student is planning to tryout for any of these sports, you will need to register them on Aktivate (formerly known as Register My Athlete) as soon as possible. The web address is www.aktivate.com. Swimmers need to be registered before October 1 and the rest of the winter sports must be registered before November 5. Please be aware that each athlete will now be required to upload a copy of their birth certificate into Aktivate to be eligible to participate, this requirement is a result of a law that was passed by the Utah State Legislature. Seniors, Utah Tech University will be here September 19th from 10:30am-12pm to help with college applications and to answer any questions you might have. We have an update for you on the error this morning with the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The problem is within the Document Delivery feature of PowerSchool. They are diligently working on a solution for us and we hope to have an answer very soon. We will communicate with you once the problem has been resolved. It is our highest priority.

Under the direction of the Head Coach will coordinate practices, manage matches, oversee the growth of the program, and promote a safe and competitive environment. Carbon School District is seeking a Full Time Attendance and Behavior Paraprofessional at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. This position will work with Administration in the implementation of the school attendance plan. Will build relationships of trust with students and teachers. Will monitor campus and help motivate students to attend classes. May be involved with interventions designed to help students meet educational, academic, life skills, behavioral, physical, social and emotional goals. Provide support and assistance to the Attendance Office and In-school Intervention room when needed. On Monday, August 28, 2023, Jostens (our graduation vendor) is meeting with JUNIORS at 9:00am and SENIORS at 9:30am to share information about class rings, caps and gowns, senior swag, etc. Students will receive an ordering packet. If they are not at the meeting, students can pick up packets from Mrs. Baker (graduation coordinator) in the library. Jostens will return on Wednesday, Sept. 6th to pick up orders, answer questions, size rings, etc. Orders can also be placed online. Starting last school year, with the class of 2023, CHS caps and gowns are now the same for both boys and girls, a combination of blue and white. Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Assistant Baseball Coach at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. The Assistant Baseball Coach assists the Head Baseball Coach in promoting an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Assistant Baseball Coach assists in providing leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the other staff and administration. Assist in the coordination and supervision of the Baseball program and team.  Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  Assist in the design of a training program and game program.  Assist in the organization and supervision of the coaching staff to assure that the program is properly implemented.  Ensure that all athletic activities conform to UHSAA guidelines.
