Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Sweeper at Helper Middle School in Helper, Utah. This is an AFTERNOON/EVENING position -will work from 3pm-8pm. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the assigned school building and grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building is scheduled for use. HMS Parents: Reminders - wrestling tournament at MHMS will have a gate fee of $5 a person, or $10 a Family. Also don't forget the 3 quarter eligibility rules for sports. Thank you all for your patience and support today as we managed the snow!! Our schools were full and kids had a wonderfully normal day.
As of tonight, our plan is to run buses and start school at the normal time tomorrow morning.
We will continue to monitor the weather reports, accumulation, ice, and plowing efforts.
We will notify everyone by 6:00 am tomorrow if there will be a late start. If you do not receive a text notification by 6:00am with information about a late start, then all buses and schools will be on their regular schedule.

Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher. Guest Teachers create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning. The Head Wrestling Coach has the responsibility for the overall operation of the wrestling program at Helper Middle School in accordance with district and CVAA rules and regulations. The head coach has primary coaching responsibility for the team. The Head Coach must have a commitment to the philosophy of providing a structured, developmentally appropriate, increasingly competitive and dignified program. Must have successful wrestling coaching experience and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Respond to emergencies and administers first aid, CPR and other medical attention as needed. Will schedule competitions and make arrangements. Attends and participates in staff meetings and trainings. Performs other related duties as assigned.
