Carbon School District is seeking applications for Substitute Kitchen workers. These workers will assist kitchen managers with various duties in the school kitchens such as: preparing food, serving students, dishes, cleanup, sweeping, mopping, storing food, and any other duties that may be required. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A Food Handler's permit is required. Must be able to pass a Live Scan Fingerprint background check which costs $25. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Check & Connect Aide. Check & Connect is an intervention used with K-12 students who show warning signs of disengagement with school and who are at risk of dropping out. At the core of Check & Connect is a trusting relationship between the student and a caring, trained mentor who both advocates for and challenges the student to keep their educational goals moving forward. Students are referred to Check & Connect when they show warning signs of disengaging from school, such as poor attendance, behavioral issues, and/or low grades. WIll work 29 hours per week. Information about winter sports:
All athletes and cheerleaders will be bringing home a paper that states all of the rules we need to follow in order to have sports. Parents & athletes need to sign it and bring it back in order to participate.
Only parents and infants 2 and younger are allowed to be in the gym to watch games.
Everyone is required to wear a mask and social distance in the gym.
We have to follow all of these rules so we can continue to have sports this winter. Thank you!

Boys basketball tryouts will be Tuesday November, 24th.
6th grade at 3:30
7th grade at 4:30
8th grade at 5:30
Tryout will only be one day.

Parent/teacher conferences for November are canceled.
School Community Council is also canceled for November.

Parent/teacher conferences are on Monday, November 23rd from 4-7pm. The last hour (6-7) will be for phone calls and emails only.
Picture retakes are on Nov. 12th.

Parents of wrestlers only: the health department will be available at the school tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 7am providing COVID-19 tests. If your wrestler is negative they can return to school.

All sports and extracurricular activities at Mont Harmon have been postponed until further notice.

MHMS students can dress up in their Halloween costumes tomorrow. Students still have to wear covid appropriate masks. Dress code still enforced.
No masks that cover the face completely, no head coverings and no weapons.

Open gym times have changed to the evenings. 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This week at MH we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week and Yearbook week. Each day the kids can dress up and participate in an activity.
