Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Student Advocate at Mont Harmon Middle School. This position will be working as the Student Advocate/Intervention Aide. A student advocate is a member of a school faculty who works with troubled students or those who have problems in their education. As an advocate, you ensure these students get the help and resources they need to engage in a positive learning experience. This is a part time position working approximately 29 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Sweeper at Mont Harmon Middle School. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the assigned school building and grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building is scheduled for use. Custodial duties include cleaning walls, wind ows, furniture, floors (carpet & tile), and cleaning restrooms. Stripping and waxing tile floors, refurbishing gym floors periodically. Other custodial duties as assigned by head custodian including minor maintenance on the building and grounds. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. August 11th- 7th grade (immunizations available)
August 12- 8th grade
August 13- 6th grade
Due to a fire code restriction students will not be allowed to explore the school next week.
Please park in the lower parking.
You only need to come to the school if you need a schedule change or vaccinations for your 7th grader.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Lunch Worker. Duties include entering student account numbers into the Aspire system as students come through cafeteria lines, collecting account payments, applying payments to student and staff accounts, notifying parents/guardians of account deficits, and tracking data for monthly reports. Other duties include helping as needed in the kitchen and communicating with school administration, faculty and staff. Food handler permit is required upon hiring. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. All calculators that were borrowed are due tomorrow. If the calculator is not returned there is a $15 fine.
There will be no school tomorrow, Friday, May 21 for the students as the teachers will be having a Professional Development day.
Grade level trip information
Hi parents!
Tomorrow (Monday May 17th) the 6th grade will have field and pool day. They do not need money. They will be released for busses at the normal time and will have school lunch available.
Tomorrow (Monday May 17th) the 7th grade will have their trip to boondocks. They do not need a signed permission to go. They can bring a home lunch or money to purchase lunch there. We informed the students last week that if they needed a school lunch for Boondocks they needed to order one from the lunchroom. They will be back around 4pm. A parent link will be sent when they are close to the school. The busses will not run regular routes. They need to be picked up at the school.
Tuesday May 18th the 8th grade will have their trip to Provo Beach. They have to have a signed parent permission emailed to Mrs. Montgomery or they cannot go. They can bring a lunch or purchase food there. The lunchroom took orders last week as well. They will be home around 5pm. We will send a parent link when the bus is close to the school. They will need a ride home from the school. The busses will not be running regular routes.
