Due to construction-On Monday May 4-buses will be dropping off and picking up students in the upper parking lot. Please do not enter the upper parking lot betweem 7:30-8:00 and 12:30-1:00.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. Instruct student athletes on skills and strategies, and organize equipment. Must have the ability to communicate with all stakeholders, ability to follow directions as well as knowledge of the skills and strategies of the game of basketball. We’re excited to announce that the road construction by our school is nearly complete!

As things return to normal, please be aware that stop signs have been reinstalled. We kindly ask everyone to come to a full stop at all posted signs and follow the 20 MPH speed limit to help keep our neighborhood safe.

Open Gyms (required):

*Tuesday, April 14th 4:00-7:00
*Wednesday, April15th 4:00-7:00

Girls will be learning a jazz routine, practicing dance technique, and gaining confidence.

*Closed Tryouts*

Thursday, April 16th 4:00-7:00

Girls will be trying out with small groups using their assigned number.
Girls need to wear all black dance attire and dance shoes.

Closed Tryouts will begin at 5:00 pm.

The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council will be holding a Public Comment meeting at the District office on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 3pm-5pm. The Council is developing their new 5 year State Plan for 2027-2031 which will guide their work to identify and improve areas of need for Utahns with Disabilities. The public is invited to review and provide comment on the proposed goals and objectives, as required by law.

Announcement: New Gate Operation Schedule:

We have installed a new gate on campus, and the following are the times it will be in operation:

Every morning: 7:00 AM – 8:10 AM
Mondays after school: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
Tuesday–Friday after school: 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM

If you need to pick up your student during these times, please park in the lower parking lot and walk to the front office to sign them out.

There will be a Parent Meeting for Track tonight at 5:00 in the Auditorium. Anyone that has a student interested in track this year should plan to attend the parent meeting tonight.

4th quarter begins tomorrow. We want to remind students and parents of eligibility requirments in order to participate in our end of year activities. Please see this document for eligibility regarding grades, citizenship, behavior and attendance.

The Special Education Aide supports students with disabilities by assisting the classroom teacher and special education team in providing instructional, behavioral, and physical support. This role helps create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student independence and success.Provide direct support to students during classroom activities, small-group work, and individual instruction. Reinforce lessons and accommodations as directed by the special education teacher. Assist with implementing IEP goals, behavior plans, and classroom routines. Monitor and support student behavior using positive, consistent strategies. Help with daily tasks such as organization, transitions, and staying on task.
