Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. Instruct student athletes on skills and strategies, and organize equipment. Must have the ability to communicate with all stakeholders, ability to follow directions as well as knowledge of the skills and strategies of the game of basketball. The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council will be holding a Public Comment meeting at the District office on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 3pm-5pm. The Council is developing their new 5 year State Plan for 2027-2031 which will guide their work to identify and improve areas of need for Utahns with Disabilities. The public is invited to review and provide comment on the proposed goals and objectives, as required by law.

The Special Education Aide supports students with disabilities by assisting the classroom teacher and special education team in providing instructional, behavioral, and physical support. This role helps create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student independence and success.Provide direct support to students during classroom activities, small-group work, and individual instruction. Reinforce lessons and accommodations as directed by the special education teacher. Assist with implementing IEP goals, behavior plans, and classroom routines. Monitor and support student behavior using positive, consistent strategies. Help with daily tasks such as organization, transitions, and staying on task.
