MHMS We will be doing vision testing on Friday September 22. This will be for all 7th grade students. If you DO NOT want your child to get their vision tested please come into the office and fill out an opt-out form. Or you can print out the attached opt-out form and have your child bring it into the office.

MHMS varsity has the opportunity to play their football game against Helper Middle School this Friday, September 15, at 2:00 pm at Carbon High School. This is in connection to homecoming for Carbon High. Please come support these boys as they play on the high school field!!

MHMS will have parent-teacher conferences this Monday, September 11, from 4-7 p.m. Any 7th-grade parent who did not complete their student's PCCR at registration will have the option of an in-person meeting at 5 p.m. in the auditorium.

We have an update for you on the error this morning with the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The problem is within the Document Delivery feature of PowerSchool. They are diligently working on a solution for us and we hope to have an answer very soon. We will communicate with you once the problem has been resolved. It is our highest priority.

There were issues that we found and we have since shut off the Parent Portal access until the problems are resolved. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Middle School Science Teacher at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Required to teach students on a specific scientific subject.  Will plan the curriculum for their classes and then deliver that curriculum. Teachers evaluate and mentor their students. Evaluations usually take the form of grading homework, tests, and projects. Teachers keep records of these grades so students, parents, and school administrators know where the students stand. Mentor students, encouraging them to excel in their schooling. Teachers may also work closely with students interested in the sciences and help direct them to the right educational path. Science subjects also often involve hands-on demonstrations, which the teachers plan and perform. Science teachers collaborate with other teachers and parents to support the positive progress of their students. This usually involves participating in parent-teacher conferences and school staff meetings. Will enforce school and classroom rules and discipline students, when necessary. Ensure a safe school environment in which all students can freely learn without having to worry about disruptions.
