The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council will be holding a Public Comment meeting at the District office on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 3pm-5pm. The Council is developing their new 5 year State Plan for 2027-2031 which will guide their work to identify and improve areas of need for Utahns with Disabilities. The public is invited to review and provide comment on the proposed goals and objectives, as required by law.

There will be a Parent Meeting for Track tonight at 5:00 in the Auditorium. Anyone that has a student interested in track this year should plan to attend the parent meeting tonight.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Special Education Aide at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. The Special Education Aide supports students with disabilities by assisting the classroom teacher and special education team in providing instructional, behavioral, and physical support. This role helps create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student independence and success.Provide direct support to students during classroom activities, small-group work, and individual instruction. Reinforce lessons and accommodations as directed by the special education teacher. Assist with implementing IEP goals, behavior plans, and classroom routines. Monitor and support student behavior using positive, consistent strategies. Help with daily tasks such as organization, transitions, and staying on task. The Carbon Girls Middle school wrestling are coming home as middle school state champions. This team is made up of both Mont Harmon and Helper Middle School students. We are so proud of all of them and their hard work. They will be coming home with a police escort and all students, parents and faculty are invited to greet them at Mont Harmon Middle school to welcome the state champions home. The bus will be arriving about 8:40 PM. You can begin gathering at 8:30 in the bus circle. Come and show your support for these awesome student athletes.
Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Sub Bus Driver in the Transportation Department. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live scan fingerprint background screening. Must be able to qualify for a Utah CDL drivers license with school bus endorsement. District will provide paid training for qualified applicant. Under general supervision, the Substitute School Bus Driver operates school buses and/or other District vehicles to transport children to and from school and related activities in a safe, timely and economical manner when regular bus driver is not available. Hey parents and students. This week is spirit week. There will be a boys basketball game tomorrow at 3:00. Students who come to watch the game will get free cotton candy. There will also be a girls basketball game on Thursday-the varsity game starts at 4:15. Students who come to watch the varsity game will get free popcorn. We look forward to a great week!
There has been a schedule change for the boys basketball game tomorrow. The varsity game will begin at 3:00 and the JV game will follow at 4:15. The 6th grade game will still be at 5:30.
