All parents of 8th graders. We are starting our Plan for College and Career Readiness meetings. These meetings are about 30mins and we will be talking about opportunities available in high school and beyond. These meetings are needed to help our students be prepared to register for CHS. The meetings are with a parent/guardian, student, and a counselor. Please sign up through the link on the counseling page of the MHMS website or through the Facebook post. We can’t wait to visit with you!

Carbon School District is seeking applications for Student Advocate at Mont Harmon Middle School. This position is 29 hours per week.
The person hired for this position will work with students to help with their academic and attendance needs.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a Live Scan Fingerprint background check which costs $25.
Applicants will apply online at www.carbonschools.org, using the “Classified application” found under the Employment Opportunities button on the home page.
Applications must be received no later than 3 pm on January 6, 2020.
Mont Harmon Chorus Concerts are tomorrow Wednesday December 11th.
6th grade boys and girls Chorus at 5:30
7th & 8th grade boys and girls Chorus at 7.
The Chorus department is suggesting a $2.00 per person donation or $5.00 for a family of three or more.

The emergency procedure activity will start at 6:15-6:45. With a short Q&A at 6:45-7pm.

Parents of 7th graders. Join us for an informational meeting about your student’s College and Career Awareness class and other important in formation. Held two different times during P/T conference. You only have to attend ONE of the session. The other time you can visit teachers. Your student’s name will be put in a drawing for some awesome prizes if you attend with them.
Parents! Come and join us for an interactive emergency procedure activity. This will be during parent/teacher conferences on Dec. 2nd. You will be able to hear and see what we do in different emergency situations and drills. See you there!
