Student pick-up and drop-off are back to normal. They are done with the parking lot. Parents are welcome to use the bottom parking lot.

We are excited to see all of our students tomorrow. We have some important information!
1.) A lot of classes have changed. Please check your student's schedule and make note of any changes.
2.) Your student will be told what lunch they have during first period tomorrow.
3.) Tomorrow (August 17th) is a FULL DAY.
4.) Parents need to drop off students at the top (west) parking lot. The bottom lot (east) will NOT BE OPEN! Buses are the only vehicles allowed in the bus turn around.

EVERY student needs to register, either online or in person. It register online you need to login to your PARENT ASPIRE account.
You only need to come to the school if you need vaccinations, or you need a schedule change.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Custodian. Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the school building and grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building is scheduled for use. Custodial duties include cleaning walls, windows,
furniture, floors (carpet & tile), and cleaning restrooms. Stripping and waxing tile floors, refurbishing gym floors periodically. Other custodial duties as assigned by head custodian. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Behavioral Interventionist at Mont Harmon Middle School. Mont Harmon Behavior Interventionist will work closely with teachers and building administration to provide services to Tier I, II and III students. They will respond to crisis situations, be part of the team that develops behavior plans, implement behavior strategies to help the student make positive behavior changes.
Position Responsibilities
Support the implementation of Tiered behavior plans
Track student progress
Monitor and adjust incentive structures
Train teachers in the effective implementation of the plan(s)
Teaching students replacement behaviors
Communicate with parents throughout the entire process of behavior plan implementation
and monitoring
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, administrators, school counselors,
therapists, and outside agencies to craft and implement the most effective behavior plan
possible
Continually improve knowledge base by attending a wide variety of behavior training
Work with the the school administrative team to ensure the effective implementation of the
plan(s)
Provide ongoing follow through with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure the
best possible outcome for the student
Qualifications

Experience working in the education system
Successfully working in an unstructured environment
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate successfully with a wide variety of

Successful work experience with at-risk students

Quick reminder about Parent/Teacher conferences tonight. 4pm-5pm. Pirate Treasure Hunt begins at 5pm and ends at 6:30pm. This is only for upcoming 6th graders. See you tonight.

Our last parent teacher conferences will be this coming Monday April 25th 4pm-7pm.
On April 25th we will also be having our annual Pirate Treasure Hunt for all current 5th graders who are attending Mont Harmon next year. The hunt will begin at 5pm and end at 7pm. Students can come anytime between 5pm -and 6:30pm (students need to be done with the hunt by 7pm). Students will check in at the welcome table outside the office doors.
