Archery Update:
Since today is an early out-archery will end today at 3:00 pm instead of 5:00 pm.
Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Title I Para Pro at Sally Mauro Elementary School in Helper, Utah. Will provide assistance to lead teachers in imparting lessons and handling classroom activities. Also responsible for providing students with assistance during classroom sessions and assisting teachers in developing teaching resources. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a Live Screen background test. Pay begins at $14.92 per hour. Parents-thank you for your help with Butter braid sales this year! We were able to raise over $4,000!! This money helps with so many things for the school year. We couldn't have done it without you.
Butter braid pick-up is this afternoon from 2:30-4:30 in the auditorium. We do not have anywhere to store the frozen pastry so please arrange for someone to pick up your order.

Important Butterbraid info!
Butter braids will be delivered to the school on October 4th. Please plan ahead to pick them up or arrange for someone to pick up for you as they are frozen and we have no way to store them. Pick-up will be beginning after school dismissal until 4:30 pm in the auditorium. Please make sure the order form is completely filled out. Butter braids are delicious, sales help fund our activities and top sellers will win great prizes so make sure to participate!

Thank you, again, for your patience as we implement a huge change in our student information system!
We have an update for you on the error this morning with the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The problem is within the Document Delivery feature of PowerSchool. They are diligently working on a solution for us and we hope to have an answer very soon.
We will communicate with you once the problem has been resolved. It is our highest priority.

Earlier this morning we sent emails to parents with access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. There were issues that we found and we have since shut off the Parent Portal access until the problems are resolved.
Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work through this huge implementation.
We will communicate with you as soon as we have the issues resolved.
Parents: Please see the attached note. We will be doing vision screenings tomorrow and Thursday. If you choose to opt out your child, please come into the office and fill out a form.
