All Carbon School District High School students are issued a Chromebook device for use at school and to take home. This part time position will provide primary support for the students using these Chromebooks.
SUPERVISION
Works under the general supervision of the District Technology Coordinator.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Provide before school support to students that have problems with their school issued electronic device.
Issue and track loaner devices for students that have a device on repair or do not have a device available for school use.
Perform basic repair duties such as replacing broken screens and troubleshooting battery charging issues.
Help students with password and or login problems with their electronic device.
Assist in the delivery and collection of student devices throughout the school year.
Assist with inventory tracking of student issued electronic devices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of common Chromebook programs (apps) with ability to learn specialty programs used by District and/or schools.
Ability to work independently to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
