We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Intervention Special Education Aide to offer personalized support to students with disabilities. A middle school social studies teacher is an educator who instructs students in grades 6-8 in various aspects of social studies. Social studies teachers develop in each pupil an appreciation of American ideals and cultural heritage; to motivate each pupil to understand and exercise his/her rights, privileges, and responsibilities as a citizen; to develop understanding of the geographical, historical, cultural and political factors which influence the development of the world regions; to encourage pupils to develop sound opinions based on study of facts concerning operation of political and economic systems. This teacher could teach courses in social studies, history, geography, American government, political science or humanities to middle school pupils utilizing the course of study adopted by the District and other appropriate curriculum publications as guidelines in teaching individual course content.
