Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Preschool Paraprofessional at Bruin Point Elementary School in Sunnyside, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan Fingerprint background screening. This individual will work closely with the preschool teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. Assist the preschool teacher with daily classroom activities and instruction. Support individual students and small groups with academic and social-emotional learning. Help prepare instructional materials and classroom centers. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, transitions, and snack time. Assist students with personal needs as appropriate. Communicate effectively with staff and follow teacher direction. Maintain confidentiality of student information. Other duties as assigned. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. Parents/guardians of RETURNING STUDENTS will use the Parent Portal to complete registration. Simply login and click on the "Returning Student Registration 2026-2027" link in the portal. It will be on the bottom of the left side of your screen.
