Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Lunch worker. Prepares and produces a variety of foods from fresh, canned, dry, or frozen states according to recipes and assists in other related tasks in a designated food service production and/or service area, specifically the Deli/Salad Kitchen at the District office. Prepares or assists in the preparation of a variety of main and side dishes and accompanying menu items, including sandwiches and salads, Practices safe food handling according to State Health Department and CSD Food Services Standard Operating Procedures. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. Must have a valid Utah Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Guest Teachers provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work. Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher. Guest Teachers create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning. Guest Teachers monitor, observe, and report student behavior according to school policies and procedures. Must be a high school graduate and be at least age 18. Please join us for Back to School Night. August 26th 5-6:30pm. There will a general meeting in the gym, then parents will go to teachers rooms for a 10 minute presentation (2 rotations). Tall Cop Community & Parent Night This presentation explains the current drug & alcohol terms in simple language for each attendee to apply what they learn in their community, school, or even at home. This session will not only identify what some of those products are, but it will also show attendees behaviors associated with them and how that can impact a young person, family, or community, who might be associated with this environment. All new kinder students will need to have an appointment with Ms. Robin for testing before they begin school. Ms. Robin has contacted many of our parents and set up appts. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Sweeper at Bruin Point Elementary School in Sunnyside, Utah. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the assigned school building and grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building is scheduled for use. Custodial duties include cleaning walls, windows, furniture, floors (carpet & tile), and cleaning restrooms. Stripping and waxing tile floors, refurbishing gym floors periodically. Other custodial duties as assigned by head custodian including minor maintenance on the building and grounds. Must pass a live screen background check (cost of $25).
