Must have a high school diploma or GED. Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing warehousing operations. Participates in the receipt, storage, loading, unloading, inventory, documenting logs, and delivery of food items and school supplies. Prepares orders by pulling from stock to meet delivery requirements. Transports a variety of items. Delivers orders to appropriate schools or buildings. Please follow the directions below based on your child’s / family’s situation. If your kindergarten student is the first child from your family to attend school through Carbon District, or you have other children in Carbon School District, but you never created a parent account: You will select CREATE ACCOUNT and complete the New Student Registration. If you already have a PowerSchool parent account set up: You will SIGN IN and add your kindergarten student to your parent account. You will either choose SIGN IN or CREATE ACCOUNT at the following link: https://enrollment.powerschool.com/family/gosnap.aspx?action=200003316&culture=en This link is also on the homepage of the Carbon School District website (www.carbonschools.org) and is titled New Student Registration for 2024-2025. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Chromebook Support Technician in the District Technology Center. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. All Carbon School District High School students are issued a Chromebook device for use at school and to take home. This part time position as a Chromebook Support Technician will provide primary support for the students using these Chromebooks. Works under the general supervision of the District Technology Coordinator. Provide before school support to students that have problems with their school issued electronic device. Issue and track loaner devices for students that have a device on repair or do not have a device available for school use. Perform basic repairs such as replacing broken screens, keyboards, and troubleshooting battery charging issues. Help students with password and or login problems with their electronic device. Assist in the delivery and collection of student devices throughout the school year. Assist with inventory tracking of student issued electronic devices. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of common chrome book programs (Apps) with ability to learn specialty programs used by District and/or schools. Ability to work independently to diagnose and resolve technical problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and move about the work area; use hands to handle objects, fingers to feel objects, use tools, or controls; and speak or hear.
