Students, USU is hosting an event on October 28th from 9am to 3pm that will highlight its technical education programs including Welding, 3D Printing, Cosmetology, Medical Assisting and more. We have an opportunity to take some high school students to the college that day to see some of these programs. Seniors attending USU next school year will receive a $100 credit toward tuition. Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Assistant Baseball Coach at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Carbon School District is looking for a FACS teacher at Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Family and consumer science teachers provide students with skills they can use in the adult world. As we cocnlude homecoming week, we wanted to share Friday's schedule. We will begin our pep assembly at 10:00. After the assembly we will dismiss for lunch. For those wanting to eat at school the cafeteria will have sack lunches prepared. The homecoming parade will begin at 1:00. Busses will run run at their normal time at 3:15.

Complete various jobs including water and gas line repair, electrical wiring repair, and concrete work. Drywall repairs. Masonry repairs. Builds items (e.g. counters, brick/concrete projects, stairs, skirting, roofs, temporary partitions, etc.) for the purpose of modifying and/or adapting facilities to specific needs. Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently. Very heavy work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions; balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity and walking. Must have a broad knowledge of carpentry, including equipment usage and maintenance; knowledge of general construction work; masonry; safety practices and procedures; and health standards and hazards.
