
Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Driver's Ed Instructor at Carbon High School. Driver's education instructors teach students how to operate a car as well as safe driving techniques.A driver's education instructor imparts knowledge of defensive driving skills, state driving laws, accident causality and avoidance, and basic traffic courtesy to future drivers. Must be able to educate students in both theoretical and practical formats. Will teach the classroom portion of the class and possibly in the car if all certifications are completed. Must have a Bachelor's degree. Must be WILLING to obtain a Utah Driver's Education certificate. This is a part time position working approximately 29 hours per week. If you are dropping off or picking up your child, please use the MIDDLE PARKING LOT (Lot B) in front of the school's main entrance. Please see the attached image for reference. Delivers educational interventions designed by Special Education teachers to help students meet educational, academic, life skill, behavioral, physical, social and emotional goals. Assists teachers with Special Education students to enable learning with minimal disruptions to other students. Parents, please have your high school students login to SIS to double check their class schedules before the first day of school on Wednesday. A few minor changes have been made to some schedules due to class offering adjustments and room number corrections.

The Assistant High School Cheerleading Coach promotes sportsmanship and physical fitness among students. Supervises all cheerleader activities, and works closely with other staff and the administration. Coordinate and supervise cheerleading activities at district, league, state, and other levels. Assist the head coach in designing training program. Promote sportsmanship and physical fitness. Ensure that all cheerleader activities conform to UHSAA guidelines. Handle other tasks as assigned. Guest Teachers provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work. Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher. Encourage sportsmanlike conduct in all phases of athletic participation at all times. Must have successful coaching experience in Golf and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Summer school students, we have just a few reminders concerning our last two weeks of school. We will not have school on Thursday June 16 but we will be back on Friday June 17. The last week of School will run June 20-24. If you were issued a Chromebook without a case they need to be returned on June 24th with the charger in order to avoid a fine.
