Your athlete will be bringing home punch cards for entrance to home and away games. Each participant is allowed 4 spectators at events. Please keep track of these as they will be validated as you enter the venue. Wrestling gets them today, Cheer - the cheer coach has them (late printing), basketball will get them this week.
Carbon School District is seeking applications for Substitute Kitchen workers. These workers will assist kitchen managers with various duties in the school kitchens such as: preparing food, serving students, dishes, cleanup, sweeping, mopping, storing food, and any other duties that may be required. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A Food Handler's permit is required. Must be able to pass a Live Scan Fingerprint background check which costs $25. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Check & Connect Aide. Check & Connect is an intervention used with K-12 students who show warning signs of disengagement with school and who are at risk of dropping out. At the core of Check & Connect is a trusting relationship between the student and a caring, trained mentor who both advocates for and challenges the student to keep their educational goals moving forward. Students are referred to Check & Connect when they show warning signs of disengaging from school, such as poor attendance, behavioral issues, and/or low grades. WIll work 29 hours per week. An Earthquake/Fire Drill was held at HMS this morning. All students exited the building quickly and were accounted for.
Archery resumes this week Tues, Wed and Thurs: 7am try to attend at least 1 session. Holiday Concert next Tues 12/15 7pm. Students need to be there by 6:30 only two parents will be allowed per students. We will broadcast it on our Facebook page.
Boys basketball practice will begin again tomorrow - Saturday 12/5 from 9 am to 10:30 am.

Girls Basketball Tryouts - Tuesday 11/24 at 3:30pm - practices for all sports are permitted to resume the week of 11/30 please contact the coaches for an updated practice schedule.
HMS Girls Basketball - due to the governor's restrictions on extracurricular activities we have struggled to get a girls basketball team together. Please have your student respond to the email they received from Mrs. Moon if they are interested. This will help us assemble the team sooner and be able to move ahead with practices in a timely manner.
