Grade level trip information
Hi parents!
Tomorrow (Monday May 17th) the 6th grade will have field and pool day. They do not need money. They will be released for busses at the normal time and will have school lunch available.
Tomorrow (Monday May 17th) the 7th grade will have their trip to boondocks. They do not need a signed permission to go. They can bring a home lunch or money to purchase lunch there. We informed the students last week that if they needed a school lunch for Boondocks they needed to order one from the lunchroom. They will be back around 4pm. A parent link will be sent when they are close to the school. The busses will not run regular routes. They need to be picked up at the school.
Tuesday May 18th the 8th grade will have their trip to Provo Beach. They have to have a signed parent permission emailed to Mrs. Montgomery or they cannot go. They can bring a lunch or purchase food there. The lunchroom took orders last week as well. They will be home around 5pm. We will send a parent link when the bus is close to the school. They will need a ride home from the school. The busses will not be running regular routes.

Attached is the information about year end celebrations. More information coming soon.

With the fire loop water line being unexpectedly broken, we will not be having in-person school tomorrow, April 23rd. The building will not have water available until next Monday when we will return to school in-person.
In an effort to maintain our required school days and not schedule a make-up day, we will be teaching remotely with a shortened Monday schedule. (See attached). The teachers are aware that not all students have technology available, and will make up any material covered when students return on Monday, April 26th.
The following teachers will NOT be available:
Scott Fincher
Lindsay Hinkins
Tom Lasslo
Melanie Huff
Jake Atwood
Steve Hoyt
Jordan Blanc
Renee Banasky
The track meet at Carbon High will still be scheduled as planned starting at 9 a.m. However, a bus will not be running from Mont Harmon, so parents will need to take their students to Carbon High and pick them up there at the end of the track meet.
Thank you for your patience.

Parents of track athletes, we have posted information on the Mont Harmon Middle School Facebook page for tomorrow’s track meet. If you have questions please contact Jordan Oman. Omanj@carbonschools.org

Due to a main water line break Mont Harmon will be released today, Thursday April 22 at 10:30am. Busses will take bus students to their regular drop-off locations. Walkers will be sent home. If you are picking up your student please use the football field parking lot or the lower parking lot.
The track meet will still be held tomorrow at Carbon.
We will communicate with you regarding more information about school tomorrow.
Thank you.
