Guest Teachers provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work. Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher. Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Attendance/Counseling Secretary at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Professional reception of students, staff, parents, and visitors. Track daily student attendance, verify legitimacy of student excuses, prepare, and communicate necessary attendance reports. Prepare sort and file various student records including those regarding discipline and attendance.. Maintain student demographics, discipline, and emergency information in student information system. Answers the telephone and greets visitors to the counseling office; schedules parent conferences, testing sessions and other meetings; relays information to counselors. Sends for students as requested by counselors and excuses student absences for appointments in the counseling office. Formats and types correspondence, memorandum, forms and reports for counselors. Maintains confidential counseling files; researches files to provide information for counselors as requested. Counselors will be available for schedule changes from 9am-2pm:
August 10th- new students
August 11th- 7th grade (immunizations available)
August 12- 8th grade
August 13- 6th grade
Due to a fire code restriction students will not be allowed to explore the school next week.
Please park in the lower parking.
You only need to come to the school if you need a schedule change or vaccinations for your 7th grader.
