Track daily student attendance, verify legitimacy of student excuses, prepare, and communicate necessary attendance reports. Prepare sort and file various student records including those regarding discipline and attendance.. Maintain student demographics, discipline, and emergency information in student information system. Answers the telephone and greets visitors to the counseling office; schedules parent conferences, testing sessions and other meetings; relays information to counselors. Sends for students as requested by counselors and excuses student absences for appointments in the counseling office. Formats and types correspondence, memorandum, forms and reports for counselors. Maintains confidential counseling files; researches files to provide information for counselors as requested. Due to a fire code restriction students will not be allowed to explore the school next week.

You only need to come to the school if you need a schedule change or vaccinations for your 7th grader.
