MHMS: On September 26, we will be doing an early out bell schedule for Carbon High's Homecoming parade. The parade will be at 12:00 following the parade there will be a football game at 1:30. The game will be played on Carbon High's football field. Come out and support our Pirates!

Carbon School District is seeking applications for Lunch Subs at various locations throughout the District. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. Must have a current Utah Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one in a timely manner. These workers will assist kitchen managers with various duties in the school kitchens such as: preparing food, serving students, dishes, cleanup, sweeping, mopping, storing food, and any other duties that are required to assist management. We are aware that morning drop off can be a little frustrating. In addition to the parking lot, you can drop students off at the curb , or you can drop them off in the parking lot on the other side of the football field and they can walk around the football field.

The Middle School Cross Country Assistant Coach supports the head coach in developing and implementing a safe, positive, and competitive cross country program. The assistant coach works with student-athletes to build endurance, technique, sportsmanship, and a love of running, while fostering academic and personal growth. Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices, workouts, and conditioning sessions. Supervise and mentor student-athletes during practices, meets, and team activities. Previous experience in cross country, track, or endurance training preferred. Must meet all district and state coaching certification/training requirements. Will work approximately 6 hours per week. There are many athletic events coming up: 6th grade football on Saturday, and then with cross country and volleyball competing next week. Just a reminder a student is not eligible to complete if they have not had a physical, completed the Aktivate requirements, and paid all fees.
