7th & 8th Grades: Monday, Nov. 3 from 4:00–6:00 PM
🤼♂️ Winter Sports Registration Reminder
All winter sport athletes must be registered on Aktivate and have their physicals completed before participating.
This is especially important for boys and girls wrestling athletes — they will not be able to participate until both are done.

We are excited to celebrate Halloween tomorrow at school. We would like to remind you that costumes must still comply with the dress code. Also students cannot wear a mask or cover their face in paint. Students cannot bring any weapons or look-alike weapons.
Parents we have an ongoing problem with students making darts out of sticky notes and other paper. This is becoming a big disruption to our school. Some of these darts also have been made with sharp objects and are very dangerous. Students have all been warned and we expect this to stop immediately. Students who continue with this behavior will be subject to school discipline. Thanks for your help.
On Thursday 10/30 we will be running our Flex Bell schedule and on Friday for our Halloween party we will be running our Afternoon Assembly schedule. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the office. Thanks!
🎃 Halloween Activity Announcement 🎃
In the past, we collected a general dance and activity fund at the beginning of the year. This year, we do not have a general activities fund.
Because of this, there will be a $3.00 charge for our upcoming Halloween Dance/Movie Activity.
Your $3.00 admission will cover entry to the activity and include some treats! 🍬👻
Tickets will be sold at lunch, so be sure to get yours early!
Students who are on a fee waiver should go to the office to pick up their ticket.
There will also be a free option available for students who choose not to pay, so everyone can participate and enjoy the fun!

MHMS: Attention Boys and Girls Wrestling
There will be a Mandatory Parent Meeting for boys and girls Wrestling on Wednesday Oct. 29 at 5:00 in the cafeteria.
MHMS: We will be doing a "B's and S's" celebration Tuesday 10/28/25. The students that qualify will be getting pizza at lunch.
This week we will be running the flex schedule on Wednesday in order to show PTV. We will be running the morning assembly schedule on Thursday. There will be no school on Friday.

MHMS: Fishing Day – October 7, 2025
Tomorrow, October 7th, we will be having a fishing day with Mr. Lasslo. If your student has Mr. Lasslo for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th period, they will be participating in this activity.
2nd and 3rd period students will depart at 8:15 AM and return around 11:10 AM, in time for lunch or 4th period.
4th and 5th period students will need to go to first lunch at 11:20. After first lunch is over we will leave for the pond and return by approximately 2:50 PM.
Students are welcome to bring their own fishing equipment if they have it. However, gear will also be available for those who need it. Additionally, please encourage your student to bring a jacket, as the weather may be cool.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. The Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach supports the head coach in developing and training the middle school girls wrestling team. This role focuses on teaching wrestling techniques, promoting sportsmanship, and fostering physical and personal growth among student-athletes. Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices, drills, and skill development sessions. Provide individual instruction to help athletes improve technique, strength, and conditioning. Support athletes in understanding wrestling rules, strategies, and sportsmanship principles. Monitor athlete safety, including proper use of equipment and injury prevention. Assist in organizing competitions, matches, and tournaments as needed. Knowledge of wrestling techniques, rules, and coaching strategies. Experience coaching or participating in wrestling, preferably at middle school or youth levels. Apply online at www.carbonschools.org
