Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Special Education Aide at Sally Mauro Elementary. Delivers educational interventions designed by Special Education teachers to help students meet educational, academic, life skills, behavioral, physical, social and emotional goals. Assists teachers with Special Education students to enable learning with minimal disruptions to other students. Due to the varied and individual needs of each student, the Special Education Aide may provide a variety of support and assistance, and should be flexible adjusting to student needs. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Will be required to pass the Para Pro test (reimbursable cost upon successful completion). It's that time of year again--School will begin on Wednesday August 18th. It will be a full day starting at 8:04 am and ending at 2:40 p.m.
We are currently doing registration for new students Tues-Thurs Aug 3rd-Aug 5th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please bring birth certificate and immunization records for registration.

Carbon School District has openings for After School Program Site Coordinators at various Elementary Schools throughout the district. Must be able to work well with children. Responsible to plan, conduct, and manage activities for students involved in the after-school program. Collaborate with school staff and others working in the after-school program. Must be willing to follow guidelines outlined in the grant funding source. Will work Monday-Friday, 29 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Lunch Worker. Duties include entering student account numbers into the Aspire system as students come through cafeteria lines, collecting account payments, applying payments to student and staff accounts, notifying parents/guardians of account deficits, and tracking data for monthly reports. Other duties include helping as needed in the kitchen and communicating with school administration, faculty and staff. Food handler permit is required upon hiring. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Students and Parents, We are excited to start the summer learning program. Please remember that some of the fire personnel are stationed here at Sally Mauro Elementary. With that being said, we do have plenty room for the students that are coming for the summer learning program/summer lunch program. We are very thankful for everyone that is in our area helping to fight the fires.
