Carbon School District is seeking applications for Substitute Bus Drivers. Bus drivers must be able to qualify for a Utah CDL drivers license with school bus endorsement. Will provide paid training for all qualified applicants. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Guest Teachers provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work. Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher. Guest Teachers create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning. Guest Teachers monitor, observe, and report student behavior according to school policies and procedures. Must be a high school graduate and be at least age 18. HMS reminder: Game day today (FB - SR @ HMS) (VB - HMS @ CV) both at 3:30 - (CC tomorrow HMS @ CV). Our annual color dance will be held this Friday after school from 3:30 to 5pm. Students will need rides home if they stay they should bring clothes to get messy in. Chalk is $1 per bag.

HMS parents: we are excited to welcome your students back to school tomorrow. There is still construction occurring so some places are off limits please encourage your students to respect those areas. Our bus lane still has equipment in the way so buses will drop off and pick up on the south side of the field for tomorrow only with normal bus service resuming on Thursday. Band and choir will be held in the cafeteria. With the gym still undergoing a remodel our PE classes will be held on the field unless weather is a problem and then they will share classrooms during prep hours. We will have teachers and aides in the hallways to direct students and help them with lockers. Please plan to have students here by 8:10 or earlier if they would like breakfast.
