Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Special Education Teacher at Helper Middle School. Applicants must hold a current Utah Teaching license with at least a Mild/Moderate certification for Special Education. Applicants must have a good knowledge of the IEP process, student transition and strategies of teaching individually to students at various learning levels in the same classroom. HMS Football Parent Meeting Summary: Coach Condie was introduces as well as the Helper Rams Football Facebook page. Students were encouraged to be 5 mins early to each game/practice and were told that proper behavior both at school and home influence their character both on and off the field. Summer Conditioning begins Monday morning July 6th at 6:15 am at the HMS weight room.

Cross-Country will begin its 1st practice on Tuesday July 14th @ 7am. Parents are invited to attend and get practice schedules and ask any questions. Please welcome our coach this year - Heidi Jewkes.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Cheer Coach at Helper Middle School. Will be responsible for training cheerleaders. Duties include creating choreographies, organizing practice sessions, monitoring each cheerleader, recommending safe techniques and supervising warm ups. Will be responsible to pick new members each Spring. Previous experience as a cheerleader and/or coach is a plus. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a part time position, approximately 20 hours per week. Will be required to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check. 8th Grade Tea tonight 6:30 to 8:30 pm (Drive By) Head up Roosevelt all the way to the end then down Hill St. to Uintah then down Uintah. The tea ceremony and slideshow will be on a DVD and handed to you at the front of the school with any awards. We look forward to seeing you.
